Coffs Harbour or Coffs is a subtropical coastal city 540 km north of Sydney and 440 km south of Brisbane on the Pacific Hwy. It was named after an early sea captain, John Korff and according to the CSIRO, has the most temperate climate in Australia. It is also the only place in NSW where the hinterland mountains which form part of the Great Dividing Range meet the ocean. This thriving holiday destination also has important agriculture industries in the form of bananas, avocados, blueberries & fishing.
